Established by two close friends with a shared interest towards festivals while traveling abroad, AK Events blends Acap’s artistic vision and dedication in creating opportunities for F&B SMEs as well as building communities amongst forward-thinking entrepreneurs, with Khai’s attention to details and efficient approach towards problem solving. Together, they transform events into unforgettable experiences celebrating food, art, and community. From small curated bazaars to grand food festivals with concerts, AK Events turns gatherings into cherished memories.
Since our inception in 2013 with "propagandafest 1.0”, a local streetwear bazaar, we've grown significantly. Highlights include organizing the Penang Food Festival in September 2018 and our inaugural flagship event, "Love Food Fest," in Putrajaya in March 2019, which drew a large audience.
Over the years, we've expanded our footprint across Malaysia, partnering with diverse clients such as state governments, stadium associations, and malls like Toppen Shopping Centre and Sunway Putra Mall. Our portfolio spans collaborations with esteemed entities like JomHeboh, Petrosains and Southville City, featuring concerts and performances from emerging buskers to renowned artists such as Noh Salleh, Ernie Zakri, Andi Bernadee, XPDC, and many more.
